Jun27,2015.SaturdayKangBao Grassland marathon is held successfully.I'm honour to be official 500(5hour)pacer at this event.this is 2nd event.last year ,Jul19,2014,1 chinese runner

died at 18K because of heart attack.that day 25 Celsius degree cover the cloudy to this

event.so this year open  2weeks earlier than last year.but2015event nearly28 Celsius

degreee.hotter than  last year.what a nightmare!

       I arrived at KangBao and check in at Jun26,2015.walk1.5K to local culture square take event package.have supper with pacer group,take the pacer bib.back to hotel prepare for running gear and read marathon booklet.sleeping at10pm.

       Jun27,2015.wake up early,at 5:00am.washing,eating,WC.put on the newest compression gear,walk to culture square with roommate.we arriving at 6:45.all pacer arriving at 7:20.after take pacer group photo .7:30standing next starting line and invitated foreign runner.

       8:01am,event starting.everyone rush out from starting.our 4 pacer for 5hour goal which wanna run according to 6min50sec per1K first,but 2pacer always run 6min15sec.so fast.goal time just like430-445.I have to slow down gradully at 5K.2pacer lost in my view soon.I keep 6min50sec per1K.at aroud10K,the last500 pacer catch me.we keep same speed run together.but because of bad condition.she slow down at 16K.I keep 6min50sec run forward with follower .at midway of marathon,uneven and higher difficulty.I dare not to slow down.even if at37K,still keep pace within7min20sec.when 5K road remain,I feel easy and spacious.I can finish this event at goal time with 7min40sec each 1K.  

       finally,I finished full way at 4:59:02(net record),but I think this real hard errand

that I have never experience before.certainly,I across that mountain,I overcome myself,

this grassland sightseeing I enjoy it,local friendly people I remember it.the hardest Ma

road I also never forgotten!

Advantage:

1.well organization.as I know, they begin to prepare for that marathon  2months ago!

2.provide 1stand service,including return limousine between Beijing and KangBao .hotel booking service.hold bonfire event at grassland.

3.return limousine service provide enough bread, sausage, mineral water.

4.when registration open,recruit more than 200 volunteer for grassland marathon at the same time.benefit for volunteer also kindly.2day accomadation ,F&B,free return limousine service and bonfire event attending,KangBao aniversary medal.1 blue skin cloth(RMB120),volunter certification.LianYunGang marathon complimentry ticket.

5.resonable arrangement for deliver marathon package and store .

6.special recommand feature medal.the medal has 2,color 1for full ma finisher,original 1 for volunteer and full way unfinisher.

7.KangBao has azure sky and white cloud always,AQI fresh,PM2.5 below25 all the year round.

8.before starting marathon,courtesy girl will hold 1min and 5min notice board tell runner.

9.enough recovery station providing for each 2.5K,water, energy drink,ausie power bar,cuted banana,cuted cucumber.only water for each 2.5K,other for each 5K.

10. total3 collection limousine for unfinisher.starting for different peorid,when runner get in,get the food package and unfinish medal at that point.

11.7mini aid station open,enouge spray for knee&ankle ache.salted water.etc.

12.more shower zone set on each track.start from 19K.water collection from grassland under land.

13.total 6 simple WC,it's enough .

14.so many volunteer hail to your with passion,also  service to runner,provid aid and further require for runner.

15.this is 2nd KangBao marathon,it's first show for official pacer.16pacer ,running with Bontide top compression rungear.330has2,400has4,430has4,500has4.530has2.most of them are star runner.

16.this evernt closing time is 6:30,warmful for junior runner,longer than prevalent marathon.

17.clear signpost for KM ,after half way,you may also see humous cartoon tips for high altitude ,breath ajustment remind.

18.attendee limitation resonable,full way for 1000runner,mini4.5K for 20000runner.

19.registration fee is value for money.full way USD60,including fashion slim Tee and sports trouser.mini 4.5K USD10.Tee should be have.

20.well finisher package,including finisher medal,half watermelon and spoon.mined water,milk tea,protect temperature blanket,1box of ausie power bar.local beer 2tin.

21.you may check up finish time at offical website after finish.including gunshot time and net time.rank.whether finish.

22.runner can easy rest under the shelter house.

23.local famous culture performance ,2 people dancing.local people will play music and encourage for runner.

24.after marathon ,5:30pm take limousine to WoLongTu car park,which is marathon track grassland.bonfire event,free beer,barbecure is supply,but not free.singer and dancer performance.light bonfire at night.people can dancing around bonfire.

improvment needed:

1.almost no big tree for shelter.ultraviolet is strong.you need cover full body,in case of sunburn.

2.only running at road,beside grassland.also  good view,but you do not stride a tiny step at grassland.

3.time record floor low,only starting,7K,37K,finishing providing.

4.the highest road marathon,including continuous hike up and down,uneven road with tiny stone and cattle shit.

5.low viewer,no good for runner performance.low cosplay runner.

6.runner ranking according to gun shot time.6th foreign runner is faster 1second than7th local runner,but local runner is faster3second than foreign runner at net time record.because of organazation notice ranking accord to gun shot before.foreign runner got RMB2000.

7.this marathon can make better Leval.such as offer massage service ,extra water for finisher.

8.actually starting at 8:01.should be contral starting time at 8:00strictly.

9.refreshment station providing CocaCola.in my view ,that carbon drink is good for finisher,not for runner in the track.

10.if recuit a few model hold encourage slogan board,the marathon will be more interesting.this is trend,such as DaLian Ma,LanZhou Ma.

      lastly,KangBao Marathon is the hardest marathon I have never seen before.1500M high altitude just like LanZhou marathon,28celsius degree.just lower a little bit than DongYing marathon.Ghost uneven track ,just like Dalian marathon.unbelievable!but I overcome and conquer that track again.I surpass myself again!I feel satisfy and wealthy!please call me devout runner!it's real cool marathon ,hope to gathering at that grassland next time!
